The Department of Human Services (DHS) is inviting you to share your views about key issues affecting people living with disability in South Australia.
The first Inclusive SA - State Disability Inclusion Plan is in its final year and DHS is now developing the next State Plan. The new State Disability Inclusion Plan will build upon the commitment to disability access and inclusion to work towards creating a society for all.
To form a plan that reflects the needs of the diverse community, DHS is seeking to draw upon the expertise, experience, and advice of people with lived experience of disability.
It would like to hear from:
- people living with disability and the disability community
- carers, family and friends of people with disability
- advocates for people with disability and
- those working within the disability sector.
In the development of the State Plan and as DHS looks ahead to a more inclusive state, it is asking:
- What does an inclusive and accessible South Australia look like?
- How do we get there?
- What is holding us back?

Consultation closing date - 3 December 2023.
