Monarto Safari Park is the largest safari experience to exist outside of Africa. The park is part of Zoos SA, a not-for-profit conservation charity that exists to connect people with nature and to save species from extinction.

The upcoming long weekends and school holidays throughout April are a busy time of year at Monarto, with large crowds visiting each day. They are looking for additional volunteers to work within the existing team as Visitor Engagement Guides.

The overall focus is on visitor engagement and will involve guiding bus tours, helping visitors to find their way around the park, and most exciting of all, connecting thousands of people with nature in our beautiful state.

Please note: This volunteer role is visitor-facing, with no direct contact with animals. There will be opportunities to view animals during training and shifts, but the focus will be on assisting visitors.

Zoos SA is looking for volunteers who are committed, curious, adaptable, positive, cheerful, and passionate about their organisation and conservation efforts.
