A bush fire can have devastating consequences if you are not adequately prepared.
The dates for the 2022/2023 fire danger season have been declared and may be viewed here.
How to prepare for the season:
- Make sure you are familiar with the new Australian Fire Danger Rating system to keep you and your loved ones safe.
- Update your bushfire plan or create one if you do not have one yet.
- Stay up to date with emergency warning information.
- Check for a Bushfire Safer Place near where you live, work or travel, so you’ll know where to go if you are in danger where you are.
