When you're feeling unwell, it can be difficult to know where to turn for care.

While your GP remains the first point of care for most health concerns, South Australians now have more healthcare options available than ever before. Services such as Medicare Urgent Care Clinics, virtual care, 24/7 pharmacies and free mental health support can provide care and advice when they’re the most appropriate option.

To help South Australians better understand these services, SA Health has launched the new Where to Get Care website. It brings together information about the healthcare services available across South Australia, helping you understand when each service is appropriate and how to access it.

Whether you need advice after hours, urgent treatment for a minor illness or injury, or you’re simply not sure where to go, the website can help you understand your options before you need care.
