Unity Housing is a South Australian community housing provider who recently came together with tenants and community members to create Our Community Cookbook, which contains 18 delicious recipes including biscuits, slices, entrees, main dishes, desserts and cakes.

The project received more than 30 recipe submissions from across South Australia which were baked, tested, tasted, and shortlisted in the amazing community kitchen at the Brompton Community Centre.

Our Community Cookbook is a collection of much-loved family favourites that are delicious, no-fuss recipes suited for new cooks and experienced cooks alike. It was officially launched in November at St Andrew’s Cottage Homes in Strathalbyn with 20 tenants and staff coming together to celebrate.

Our Community Cookbook is sure to have something for everyone, so grab yourself an electronic copy plus bonus recipes here and become inspired to cook up some home-style goodness.

Unity Housing would like to acknowledge the tenants and community members who contributed their recipes, time, and advice throughout the baking, tasting and creation of this collaborative cookbook which is funded by SA Health.
