Each year, the Through the Lens photographic competition receives a wonderful range of entries across all categories. This year, we’re especially encouraging you to explore Through the Lens categories Active Ageing and Meaningful Connections: What does Active Ageing mean to you? and What do Meaningful Connections look like in your life?
Every Seniors Card member has a story worth telling and your story deserves to be seen. Through the Lens is your chance to capture and share the moments, people and experiences that make your life vibrant, purposeful and uniquely yours.
Active ageing
Active ageing is all about celebrating experiences, wisdom and energy that continue to shape your life. Whether you’re out exploring the great outdoors, enjoying a favourite hobby, or simply embracing everyday moments with curiosity and joy, your photos can show what ‘ageing well’ truly looks like.
You don’t need to be a professional photographer, just someone with an eye for a moment that matters. A spontaneous snapshot or a carefully composed image can both tell powerful stories. Think about the scenes that make you feel alive, confident or playful. Those are the moments worth capturing.
