New York-based Singaporean pianist, Margaret Leng Tan is an icon. A muse to avant-garde music giants such as John Cage and George Crumb, Tan took the toy piano and created a stellar music career spanning 50 years.
Dragon Ladies Don't Weep is a collaboration between exceptional Singaporean and Australian artists including composer Eric Griswold, director Tamara Saulwich, and dramaturg Kok Heng Leun.
It won Best Work of the Year (Dramatic) at the 2021 Australian Art Music Awards and had its world premiere at Asia TOPA in 2020.
Date: Friday 28 – Saturday 29 October 2022
Location: Dunstan Playhouse
