Paiwan Movement Workshop

Dancers from Bulareyaung Dance Company share movement and ancient chants learned from the Paiwan indigenous people of Taiwan as part of the making of their show, tiaen tiamen Episode 1. Participants will have the chance to explore their physicality, incorporating singing with body movements. No prior experience required.
Mask, Theatricality and Improvisation

Get a taste of Jacob Rajan’s signature performance style as seen in Paradise or the Impermanence of Ice Cream. Work with Rajan and Indian Ink Theatre Company’s own mask collection of Balinese Topeng masks to experience, through exercise and improvisation, the truth of the actor’s actions and the essence of theatricality.
HollowBody™ Masterclass
With The Human Expression (T.H.E) Dance Company

HollowBody™ is the signature methodology and movement philosophy advocated by Kuik Swee Boon, founding director and main choreographer of Infinitely Closer’s T.H.E Dance Company. It is an experiential process, utilising improvisational tools to guide practitioners towards a heightened physiological awareness that resonates in their movement choice, approach and expression. Suitable for professional and semi-professional dance artists, dancers, full-time 18+ students and movement enthusiasts who are comfortable with improvisation.
